Bio

Jack Majdecki has worked with an eclectic list of performers and musicians ranging from Glenn Yarbrough to Sergio Mendes to Bobby Womack. Currently, Jack is a guitarist and orchestrator in Los Angeles where he works and/or performs on just about everything including Artist Recordings, Movie Soundtracks, Musicals and Rock, Jazz & Brazilian Concerts.

A Little History:

A Milwaukee native, Jack Majdecki began playing professionally at the age of 13! These were the early high school prom gigs and polka gigs (a staple of Milwaukee culture). At 15, Jack began playing with the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee jazz Ensemble. Soon, he was a featured soloist and also taught jazz Improvisation to students at the UWM campus.

The UWM connection Jack developed led to local band leader and studio owner – Dave Kennedy. Dave Kennedy was a springboard to countless recordings, national commercials, performances and much more. It wasn’t long before calls began to come from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and pretty much any entertainer that came through the midwest. Next, at 16, it was onto Chicago for Broadway Musicals and Jazz gigs  and tours!

In 1979, Jack Majdecki moved, permanently, to Los Angeles where he lives with his wife Cindy Majdecki.

Currently:

Jack Majdecki continues to thrive in the Los Angeles music business as an producer, orchestrator, arranger and copyist as well as guitarist! Recent projects include movie soundtracks, recordings and concerts with numerous artists and entertainers!
